The M860 LED Marine Lantern is a premium, full-featured lantern suitable for achieving longer ranges in challenging insolation locations. The lantern includes options for GPS synchronization and more.
The M860 can achieve up to 475 peak candela (white). Average range is 4 to 7NM with the ability to reach up to 10 NM. With peak intensity of up to 475 candela (IALA peak) and a maximum range up to 10 NM, Carmanah's new model M860 lantern is the brightest, longest range self-contained solar LED lantern on the market in its class.
When introduced in 2013, the 800 Series lanterns from Carmanah offered class leading performance and technology in a compact and reduced weight format. Since this time, they have proven to be as reliable and durable as all Carmanah lanterns were known for, and today these lanterns are providing mariners across the globe with safe navigation aid in thousands of locations. Even today, these lanterns still represent one of the best solutions in their class, backed up by years of field proven reliability and dependability.
