LightGuard Bluetooth equipped Product Range update

Sabik Marine introduced LightGuard Bluetooth Control to the Marine AToN industry in 2015 with the launch of the LED160 lantern.

Since this time, 000's of lanterns have been shipped from Sabik Marine with this innovative and very convenient feature for testing and control of our Bluetooth equipped lanterns.

The LightGuard Bluetooth Control App enables authorized users the ability to use any Bluetooth capable device to check lantern status, battery status and charge, and to confirm or change the lantern's settings from up to 50 mtrs away. There is no additional cost for this upgrade, and no associated costs with using this app.

This makes the task of checking lanterns on structures or moving buoys much safer and quicker. As there is no need to purchase specialist programming hardware, more authorized staff can use this feature on any Bluetooth capable smartphones and tablets that you already own. The LightGuard Bluetooth app is available for both the latest Android and iOs smartphones and devices.

For extra security, the PIN code feature can be activated in the app, with a 4-digit PIN code chosen by the user being required to make any changes to the lantern settings. The lantern's settings can still be read without this code, and this feature can be selectively turned on or off per lantern by any authorised user.
